How to Make Homemade Pumpkin Spice Creamer

In a saucepan over medium heat, warm the heavy cream and milk, stirring until it's just warm (don't let it boil).

  • If you don’t have heavy cream readily available, you can use half & half instead.

  • I like to use a small 1-quart saucepan.

Add the pumpkin puree and pumpkin pie spice, mixing until fully incorporated.

  • Gently whisk in the pumpkin and spices, making sure they are fully incorporated.

  • 100% canned pumpkin can be used in place of pumpkin puree.

  • We’re not trying to scorch the milk, so keep this to a light simmer, not a rolling boil.

  • Adjust your temperature accordingly.

Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly.

  • Give the creamer about 5 -10 minutes off the heat before transferring.

  • Full transparency, I don’t always strain my creamer because I like a little texture in my coffee.
